Take an adventure and explore northern Baja in Mexico. This 8-day all-paved motorcycle ride features the fantastic back roads of southern California, the desert solitude of Catavina, and an epic sunrise over the Sea of Cortez in Bahia de Los Angeles. This ride is for those who don’t want to spend the entire day riding, but prefer to explore on and off the bike as you ride scenic paved roads through unadulterated desert landscapes each day. Wanna take a break from it all and enjoy warmer temperatures while experiencing great fresh food and genuine hospitality from friendly locals? THE ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrival Day

Your motorcycle adventure starts by arriving in Long Beach, California. Check into your hotel. Meet your fellow riders at a first-class welcome dinner this evening.

Day 2 - Long Beach to Julian 155miles/255km

Ride through the Santa Ana and Cuyamaca Mountain ranges on the best roads in Southern California. Stay in Julian, California.

Day 3 - Julian to Ensenada 140miles/225km

Ride some lovely roads to the border with Mexico. Cross over into Mexico at Tecate and continue into Baja through wine country and along the Pacific Ocean until Ensenada. Stay in Ensenada.

Day 4 - Ensenada to Cataviña 230miles/370km

Ride deeper into the Baja and experience desert vistas and open roads. Get ready for spectacular stars in a desert landscape this evening. Stay in Cataviña.

Day 5 - Cataviña to Bahia de Los Angeles
105miles/170km

Ride through untouched desert landscapes. Finish the day by riding to the small coastal town of Bahia de los Angeles. Stay in Bahia de los Angeles.

Day 6 - Bahia de Los Angeles to Alfonsinas 108miles/175km

Enjoy the Bahia de Los Angeles sunrise over the Sea of Cortez before heading out today. We will take the Sea of Cortez Highway #5 north along the Sea of Cortez and again stay right on the shores of it. Stay in La Alfonsina, Baja California.

Day 7 - Alfonsinas to San Felipe 93miles/150km 

Ride along the Sea of Cortez today. We will stop by a collection of racing buggies, find an excellent lunch spot. Get to know the quaint town of San Felipe. Stay in San Felipe, Baja California.

Day 8 - San Felipe to Tecate 217miles/350km

Ride west to Ensenada. We picked out a terrific lonely desert road for you to enjoy. One more Baja moment, perhaps? We then turn north through wine country. Stay in Tecate, Baja California.

Day 9 - Tecate to Long Beach 186miles/300km

Cross the border first thing in the morning and ride the back roads to the LA area, before arriving in Long Beach. Farewell dinner tonight. Stay in Long Beach, California.

Day 10

Departure day. You may return home, or, continue living the dream! DEPARTURE DAY
